It’s that time of the year; the festival of Light or Deepavali is celebrated by all the Hindu’s around the globe. And the countdown has begun here in Malaysia, for 17th October 2009.
The delectable, scrumptious home-cooked cookies and traditional favourites ; the murrukku, accu murrukku,athirasam and sweet meats is a must-try for all! (I’ve placed my orders though; the new modern mums dont sweat it out in the kitchen anymore!)
The main event in the decor department being the variety of colourful, gay ,radiance from the candles, bulbs,neon lights and lanterns!

7. The theme; red and gold. Ribbons, cushion covers, table top,runners,candles in red and gold! Let your imagination run wild here…..
