SWASTIC
This symbol is the sign of abundance,prosperity,happiness and world peace. It also represents the four directions of the Universe; South, North, West and East. The vertical lines in a Swastic indicates the self and the horizontal lines indicate the expanse of the Universe. The symbol is used for starting any prayers or projects; as it is deemed auspicious and removes all obstacles!
This symbol is highly revered in Hinduism ; as it is considered to be a replica of Lord Vishnu himself. The four sides of Swastic represents the four hands of Lord Vishnu. Lord Ganesha is synonym with the Swastic symbol; worshipping this symbol means worshipping Lord Ganesha.
It is normally made in red and orange colour. Metal Swastic emblems are normally placed at the entrance of a home, to remove obstacles and invite abundance and prosperity.
A metal emblem would be suitable for a West , Northwest and North facing main doors. Wooden emblems are appropriate for doors facing East, Southeast and South. Doors facing Northeast and Southwest should ideally have a crystal or porcelin emblem hung at the entrance.
